NOR-CAL MERCURYS

Purpose:

We are a nonprofit organization registered with the State of California, dedicated to the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of 1959 to 1974 Ford Galaxies and Mercurys. We wish to expand interest in these automobiles, exchange information, and help others to obtain their goals with their own cars, as well as assist those who wish to obtain an automobile of this era.

Membership:

Club membership dues are $30.00 per year and are open to anyone with an interest in these vehicles, or any Ford or Mercury product. Ownership of a full size ’59 to ’74 Ford or Mercury is not a requirement; however, club meetings and functions are geared to those members with Galaxies and Mercurys.

Participation:

Monthly club meetings are the organizational tools used to plan club activities throughout the year. Annual club functions include:

0. Picnics, often meetings with other “Ford clubs”
0. Auto shops, where club participation is encouraged
0. “Shop Days” where club members meet, to help each other work on their cars
0. Holiday parties
0. Trips as a group to large or distant functions, i.e., “Fabulous Fords Forever,” “Pismo Beach Car Show” or “Fun Ford Sunday”

Club Goals:

We are a diversified group of men, women, and families who share friendship and good times with our automobiles. We also share the responsibility of joining together to fight detrimental legislation aimed at removing older cars from the road. Organization and cooperation are the keys that will help us fight those who would attempt to take our hobby from us.

We wish to extend this invitation to answer your questions and we welcome your membership and participation.
